So far our 4th Anniversary has been quite splendid. I did work Friday... and Toni went in for a blood draw at her primary care physician... After that... well we have been busy.
Friday evening we enjoyed a wonderful "date" at the Purple Cafe in Woodinville; a cozy joint, albeit a bit pricey, however, the food always is beyond expectation. Toni had a terrific pasta dish, and I somehow wound up with braised lamb. See Toni is quite fond of animals and being vegetarian, she would set them all free if she had the chance. And I have always avoided anything other than cows, chickens, some venison, buffalo and stuff from the waters. One of those "anythings" was lamb. I don't believe I have ever had lamb until Friday night. But it was that or Salmon. When I ordered it, it did not cross my mind by title that it was lamb. But Toni knew. Baaah, Baaah... ok ok... so very guiltfully, I sat with my hand on my face following dinner. Toni was good about it... but cheez o peet I am afraid I am going to have nightmares trying to count sheep... that angrily attack me.
Anyway... Saturday was consumed by errands... but... we bought a camera. A Canon EOS Rebel T2I.... SWEET. What a camera. 18MP and a 18/135 Zoom lens... and I am going to burn 997 shots on the SD chip in the next week.
Tomorrow we end our Anniversary weekend with a date to see Cirque Dreams Illumination in Seattle.
Looking ahead to this week... Wednesday we'll catch the Eagles in concert, then off to our weekend getaway.
And a big Happy Birthday to Toni and Janet on Monday the 24th. Whoo hoo!!!
