- Toni completed a session with the Medical Oncology Survivors Training at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. I was fortunate enough to join her for some of her "interviews." We were presented with a lot of information and ideas on how to prevent cancer. Over the next few weeks we'll continue to adopt some of the key learnings from this training into our lives. Most of it is exercise and diet (right foods, right quantities). She seemed very pleased with the time she spent and we have a lot to sift through.
- Toni continues to work a modified shift schedule at Boeing. She works Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri with Wednesdays off. This schedule came at the request (read that as an order) from her oncologist. She is currently working on plane #5 of the 787 program.
- Menopause (lite)... Toni is experiencing mild and infrequent "changes." Whether it is really the start or middle it is hard to tell. The chemo and Tamoxifen are suppose to do the trick. And it is quite likely something is going on.
Created with love for Toni as she takes on breast cancer and enjoys a healthier life.
